Accepted Christmas Hats
 

Hello, I am one of those many graalians who submitted some hats and were not able to get in. Now, what I want to know is how to get my hats accepted next year and to do that I will need to do a little research. My research requires analyzing the hats that got accepted this year.

So please, if you don't mind, post the hats that got accepted here so I can see what I can improve on. It can be any pictures as long as it is a clear image of it.(preferable with all view points)

And if possible, for those that submitted it, can you say which category you chose for it.


Also, please be respectful towards each hats here. I know that some will probably be not the best looking ones but they were accepted for a reason. So lets look at them and learn some few things, if possible.

Finally congratulation for those who's hats got accepted. I be one of you guys next year, hopefully :\.

I think there should be more opportunity for player made stuff to be uploaded, other than Christmas gifts. Like a p player made shop that restocks seasonally

I'm sure your hats will make it in next time, I'm no gfx expert but heres my tip, you dont have to make christmas related hats for submission.

tbh i was disappointed when i wore ur hats.
it doesn't fit into my noob head.

They're extremly unappealing.

The Afro is cool but it has bad shading and dithering, and side looks really deformed and weird...

The coconut (I think it's a coconut) looks weird as **** and looks like it belongs on zone... Should be remade entirely

just because one person doesn't like a hat doesn't mean others don't like it. does everyone like to wear overalls? no. do some people? possibly

The dithering gives it a decent hair texture imo

obviously theyre not all going to perfect/graal style because theyre playermade, you cant demand everyone remakes their hats until they match the quality of graphics staff (even though there is nothing wrong with 90%+ of them)

I thought all the hats had to be original, theirs recolors of the paperhat from page 1

It doesn't even match the server style though...
Either way, my main grape about the Afro is he side view. It looks so bad x___x
If someone could fix the shape id love them forever because i really like the Afro
