How to do a successful Patreon campaign?
Okay so... I am wanting to learn to draw, right? I have little skill in drawing. It eats up so much of my time practicing, but I want to practice as much as I possibly can. I already have school being a detriment to this, putting a job on top of that will give me absolutely no time to practice.
Would it work out to try and start a Patreon campaign to cover my financial needs while I do as much as I can to become an amazingly good artist? How could I go about doing that in a way that won't seem like I'm just basically panhandling? |
You're not going to get any patreon donators if you aren't even interesting to anyone or have no fanbase
No one is going to donate to you just because you want to practice art |
Do livestreams of you drawing and draw something impressive lol. If you can't, nobody will donate to you unless you're lucky. People don't give money out to an artist practicing to draw; they give money to artists who can draw and does it well.
But aye, in the end, it depends on how well you can already draw. So make a livestream of you drawing something nice. If people like it, they will donate. |
