Staff List?

Why is there no list of iClassic staff anywhere?

Crono 02-17-2016 11:34 AM

so each staff member doesnt receive individual ideas and suggestions from you

Would you just quit....

I admit, I've had my... impulsive moments, but those pass and I'm not gonna leave after 4-5 years of being here because of a few haters.

Crono 02-17-2016 12:03 PM

no one wants you to leave, they just want you to stop spamming future improvements with threads

You're better off getting your questions and concerns addressed here (minus talking about bans). This community (minus the trolls) are far more experienced with in-game knowledge than the current GP's.

I personally think that the staff list should be placed back at the FAQ Kiosk, admins would get a lot of spam from people who just want to say "hi" but still there might be people who have something important to say and don't know who to contact. I think admins who don't want to hear what players have to say shouldn't be admins at all.

Anyway players can still use the "showadmins" command to see the names of admins who are currently online.

if you have an idea, use the feedback option.

if you have a concern/in-game issue, go to support.toonslab.com

No need to pm staff.

I dislike it. Players can have questions or minor issues that aren't worth sending a ticket, nor worth the time it takes to go through a ticket for a staff member. I always like, as staff, and as a player, having a relationship with the community. I liked classic years ago, and granted, I probably mostly got bored, but also I noticed the staff-player relationship was cut off basically. Staff used to go on buildings and talk to players and answer questions. Although that would be annoying with the amount of players they have now, they don't have to cut ties as much as they have. Players have to deal and interact with staff constantly in a game like Graal. It's better to have a relationship, than for players to think of staff as robots that just ban them. Graal has a community, and that should be emphasized more. Yes, players send pointless PMs, but many times they aren'r pointless. Even the ones saying hi; just responding and saying hi back is a great step toward a better community and player-staff relationship. I don't know... I've just always thought that the players and staff should interact together, since the administrators are actual players from the community itself. I've always thought that admins who thought they were above everyone else shouldn't be an admin. It basically proves they're there for power, attention, or just ego, rather than the development and progression of the server itself.

While i do agree with you, i have to say that it is simply unpractical to reply to every single pm that is sent from the palyers, at least with the current amount of staff working in the server. I often find myself in situations where i have to review guild logo, public and personal uploads, check the reports and answer a few of the pms i get, all by myself. Maybe more experienced players should apply for the staff team and then someday we achieve that level of player-staff relationship.

We can't. Our ban record is quite long.
