Idk if I'm the only one but I feel like best of 3s feels really low for me, I feel like best of 5s would be better and then best or 7 or 11 for the 3rd and first spot.

Or at least from the top 16 left start best of 5s.

Best of 5s for everything should never happen, there are too many guilds that have no chance anyway that need to get fished out before it actually matters.

As of now, the last couple of spars are bo5 (the ones that determine who gets 1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

Extending the bo5 considerably would make the GST harder to participate in and run, since people will have to take more time out of their already busy days.

Bo5 for finals only.

The tournament would last until midnight...

I realized that after I posted I was to lazy to edit so I just added to it, but I do think for too 16 or 8 teams it wouldn't add that much time as it gets to the harder teams of the competition.

Since the skilled spar teams should be the only ones left, making the later games best of 5s would probably add the most time as skilled spars usually take longer.

aight then idk thought it would be more entertaining to watch idk i don't mind spending the extra 30min most of the sparrers are on at that time anyways on a Saturday just saying, people were all stacked at the spar room watching the winners hats would of much rather watch them Gs an extra 30 min.

We actually have plans to eliminate all guilds that aren't Alumni automatically. Figured this would speed up the GST.

I think he meant bo5 in semis/finals.

5 for semi's and 7 for final's seems reasonable. It's fine the way it is atm (except 3 month gaps)

@thallen true but Ye semis maybe that would probably make sense but still this gst the brackets were kinda really bad there was the top 3 idev teams that most people believe are too 3 facing each other in the 3rd and 4th bracket (alumni Elysian and silver), like for me if the actual top 8 teams were the last 8 teams bo5 would of been interesting I don't find a team getting 2-1 convincing in the tougher competition, what was convincing is Elysian versus the walking dead 5-0 or 6-0 I forgot. That's why I don't like the way the brackets are done I understand time doesn't allow personally I'd have gst in 2 weeks. First week the people from the same bracket each face each other in one arena. And then the top 2 teams (those who have the 2 most wins) of each bracket of each bracket the week after fight for the reward.

And the second week it would be best of 5s and finals would be best of 7 or 11.

Kinda of a worldcup setup.
