Rumors.. and Guilds: PK Solo Spar

I made this forum of ideas and some might actually come true according to thallen. With this said, I hope staff realize how the skill sets of PKing and Solo spar and how PK/Spar Guilds work. Prizes haven't been given to solo sparers since iPanda quit iclassic. Prizes haven't been given to PKers ever... until this seasonal leaderboard:love: so When Guild updates start coming, I hope staff include a few new leaderboards: -combined seasonal spar wins per guild (spar wins will be added to the tag you're wearing as you win. Guilds will lose the wins achieved by a certain member if he/she is kicked, even if he/she is re-added. -combined seasonal PK's, same system, PKs added to the tag you are wearing when you get the kills, if the member is kicked the guild loses the PKs achieved by that member. why? don't we have spar and pk leaderboards The current leaderboard is great for individual purpose The ONLY case where it helps guilds Is the new seasonal fort times. (even though it barely helps, staff should give hats to the top 5 seasonal fort guilds rather then 1,000 hour guilds) individual purpose? The best PKers do not need to work together, they can just get kills by themselves to achieve things on the leaderboards. The best 1vs1 sparers do not need to work together to do well in 1vs1. By adding a Guild PK and Guild Spar Win Leaderboard Sparrers in guilds such as Apostles,BTK, Alumni, Demon, Silver Lion, Blackout AND PKers in guilds such as Herus, PkaD and Guild B would be encouraged to all spar and PK more as a group if awards were given to the best guilds to do it. Why? if this system was in place, and I only achieve 200 seasonal wins, I'm holding my guild back from winning. Therefore I would feel the need to try to get as many wins as I can. Side note I bolded wins because Guilds working together to get a massive quantity of wins is a good idea. BUT Individual Spar leaderboards should be based more on win ratio rather then quantity. This would allow us to see who is always winning rather then just see who is sparring more ISSUES: People used to go inactive on leaderboards, fine then to remain on leaderboards you should need 300 wins per week in the STREAK room. (50 per day isn't hard, 50wins x 7days = 350, 300 is an achievable number) |

My issues with the pk board is that it shows very little skill. The issue is that pkers that have very little skill(looking at the top of the board). The mob pkers sit in a mob for a few hours and bam, 4000 kills on the day. While I usually get 300-500 on the day, pking for 1-3 hours. So, if we make guild pks, this will be my personal beef. Between Michael and myself, Guild B's highest total killers for the season, we have 37k and 27,500, respectively. Sky envy, that oft complained over kill farmer, has 77,500. While Guild B would pass her total because we have more then just myself and Michael, once she joined a half-decent "pk" guild we wouldn't have a chance. There is a solution, which is the whole kills subtracted by deaths idea I've put forth before. Since people wouldn't pk in mobs with that in place, they would have to do it legit. Doesn't even have to impact the kills on your profile, those could still be total. But unless they change the pk leaderboard to that, I would rather not. It would reward those same individuals who won the solo board. |

I think fixing the spar leaderboard woul be nice. Because right now it's basically a "most wins in mixed room" leaderboard. Which shows more quantity than skill (obvi u need skill to win but I would rather see a leaderboard of the BEST w/l ratio for the season rather then quantity, like on UN.

95% of the time I played UN anyone that can spam spars can still get tickets with a mediocre record. The current system doesn't seem THAT bad the way it is right now (i'm sure it could improve). Also you don't want singles to be a 'who can spar most' but for your guild spar and guild PK, they both seem to lean towards the same idea of having the most spars/pk's in a given time frame. I also think side rooms shouldn't be excluded, they are still a small part of the sparring 'community', even if it seems cheap/unfair considering it's almost impossible to lose in them.

I don't see there being leaderboards like this, but I believe staff are interested in incorporating individual statistics, like PKs and singles spar wins, as a way of earning points for your guild, which should put a worth on every player's head in a way similar to how they're trying to make guilds more important and valuable

from what i know, activity from each member (any stat gained at all) will translate to points for the guild to purchase cool stuff (guild house, increased member cap, whatever) no need to spam millions of leaderboards.
