Pokemon Vs Digimon
 

I could list a giant wall about how Digimon content wise is superior than Pokemon.

But that's a given. Pokemon from the start has been made to appeal to young kids. Digimon, even in the original animated series, attended to teens(/pre teens). And kids are less shameful to admit that they still watch a cartoon on a childish network.

But can we all please step back and realize how Pokemon sizes don't make sense. Like if Ash is around 4 feet then Lucario who's been more than 8 times taller in the anime, and who's literally been described as humanoid, would be above that right? Nope. He's only like 3 feet 11 inches. To put that in perspective, Butterfree is like 4'11".

Because logic.

Now say what you want about digimon, but at least they correctly size their digimon... Like Alphamon is like 130 feet in the anime and in Cyber Sleuth he is 126 feet).

Also I don't want any of that 'yet he still walks behind you' poop k. Because that's just a logical thing, if he were proportionate when he walks behind you he'd take over the screen.

Ehh screw it I'll essentially give the summary list for why Digimon is bae over Pokemon k.
-My most recent Digivice cost 120 dollars(albeit with the shipping). That's more than the 2DS costs. And its literally just a Tomagachi machine. While this doesn't really show its better... Have a fun tidbit.
-The digimon games have a difficulty setting... AND MULTIPLE SAVE SLOTS:0. Oh plus they're cool and Cyber Sleuth only came with Eng. subtitles... And Japanese sounds cool.
-Digimon makes you actually care about when your partners die since until Cyber Sleuth you needed pieces to revive them. Plus even in CS, you actually pay medical bills... Because #SocialismFails.
-They don't make new digimon every 4 years but instead make the ones they do have cool.
-When they do make more they progress evolution lines. Or add a new cool feature which not just SOME creatures can do, but all can. (excluding armor digivolving but that has to do with magic so... Reasons.)
-Post Game. Also, the games, CS especially, has a lot more content than any Pokemon game. As a meta player for both I can finish about any Pokemon game in about 4 hours while CS took almost a week.
-Evolutions are fun. Its not just a linear path so you have to continuously go from level 0 to 100 again(albeit it's kind of annoying how a level 0 mega is weaker than a level 100 ultimate). Plus I really like how they require you to dedigivolve to get through some lines. Speaking of which, while there are suggested lines- you can pick at least 2 paths to go for each evolution.
-Mamemon is cool. K.
-Can actually explain their series. Yea there's plot holes, but substantially less. Each season is essentially a parallel universe and even the ones that connect such as S1-3 all have separate timelines with actual progression(real talk, it really bothered me when Ash like didn't use Charizard to just rek everyone in Black and White...)
-You actually have to take care of your avatar in the game... Like eating... Sleeping... Human things. (well not in CS until like the end... But I don't wanna spoil plot k)
-Wot am I missing. Idk. Thoughts? Comments? I spent too much brain activity on this. I just wanted to rant about how Pokemon heights were insane.

When does Pokemon need introductions? That would be as pointless as the President explaining who he is at NATO.

If you don't know Pokemon you've failed your generation. (assuming that all of us here see younger than 40 k.)

Regardless, you should still put that stuff in to compare.

Not everyone knows everything about Pokemon so at least try to be fair.

Its really weird to make a thread named "Pokemon vs Digimon" and just only talk about one of them.

SKT just wants you to love Digimon. Not Pokemon.

Story-wise Digimon is better than Pokemon. Pokemon though has been more popular and overrated compared to Digimon. I personally think Digimon has better evolutions compared to Pokemon.
