Serious question
 

One night, you go to sleep in the comfort of your own bed. The next morning, you wake up in an empty room with concrete walls cold to the touch, no windows or doors, and three stools and a small oak table in the center of the room. On two of the stools are two other confused average people, and on the table is a cartridge not too unlike a daytime cold medicine tablet box. On the front is a brand name and slogan: Innovay, you didn't sign up for this! On the back is a set of instructions:

In this box are three tablets, one blue, one yellow, and one completely transparent. In order to leave this room, each of you must choose a tablet for your own consumption. Once you have swallowed the tablet, you will pass out and then find yourself awake in your own bed.

The color of tablet that you will consume determines its effect. For example, taking the blue tablet will strip you of your ability to feel any emotion other than sadness. Similarly, taking the yellow tablet will strip you of your ability to feel any emotion other than happiness. However, taking the transparent tablet strips away your ability to feel any emotion whatsoever. In order for the pill to take effect, its consumption must have reasonable intention. Choose wisely, and choose fast. Starvation is a *****.

How do you decide who gets which pill, and why?

I'd take all pills, get rekt

I would have us RPS for who gets what pill.

I would probably want the clear one, hedonistic living isn't for me lol. And sadness is just.... Sad.

RPS doesn’t involve reasonable intention.

You swallow the clear tablet. It fails to take effect and you are left for dead. You lose.

To be honest though, I'd probably take the blue pill and end up killing myself afterwards because I wouldn't be able to live if I had to give the sadness I already experience in life to someone else.
Deciding on who of the 2 takes which pill depends on their thoughts and vision aswell, I wouldn't force them to take a pill they wouldn't want. If they choose to starve instead of living like that I'd be okay with it too

Should greed be a factor in the decision? Here's how I see it:

The decision is partially unanimous from the start. The one with the most amount of greed takes the yellow pill. Boom. He's left for dead. A greedy decision is not a rational decision.

But what's worse? Living with sadness or no emotion at all?

No emotion at all? Hmm... Reminds me of a certain phycopath...

I'd toss them. They're obviously rubbish.

Yellow.

Blue. I mean, if we're getting deep here, I don't feel much happiness right now. So it wouldn't be much different than my normal life.

Kill one of the other people in there and take both the blue and red drinks and see what happens

Easy.

Take the table, karate chop it in half, put it together on the wall (two halves=1 whole=1 hole), go home.
