Game Suggestions

Hey, everyone I've been having trouble looking for a good game to play on my PC. Since this is a community full of gamers, I thought why not put a list of what I'm looking for and have some people recommend games! So down below this wall of text I'll put what I am looking for, thank you everyone who suggests games. I will be looking at every and all suggestions!

Social
A big part of the game I would like to have is a social aspect. I really love how Graal captured the communication aspect, and would love to see it in other games. I've also seen this same concept used in AQWorlds and a few other MMOs. I would really love to just walk into a room and start chatting with others.

Game Mechanics
I would love a game that has a progression system. I don't much care about updates to often; but every now and then would be great. A game where you can go out and grind to be the best like RuneScape amazes me and would be a perfect definition for a game I would like.

Theme
I'm personally looking for a theme of mid-evil, or modern. I really love the concept of having swords in a game, but also having a modern feel of the game with lifestyle and such.

UI
A game with either a Top-Down interface like Pokemon, Zelda, or Graal would be nice. That or a camera angle like RuneScape, LoL, and others. If the game is made in pixel art or art similar to runescape would be perfect!

Summary
To put it in a simplified few words it would be these. "I mainly just want a game like Graal or RuneScape, for my PC with a social and progression aspect. In-Browser is preferred, but I can also download the game; please no heavies. I have just a laptop I use for art and in-browser games mainly."

Diablo 3 or Guild Wars 2 come to mind, Diablo 3 is not as social but very grindey (and a very fun grind, I don't get bored grinding that game out personally) can't speak for GW2, but from what I've read it might fit your bill.

You mention RS in everything though, why not just play that? That game is constantly growing in terms of dev, its very cheap, and theres two versions of it so surely you haven't done everything!!

i played gw2 and the "pro" players will ignore you most of the time, just like graal.

I love the idea of it and all, it's just how long the games been out. I feel like it's going to be unfair for me, cause I want to grind to be one of the best. Just how long the game has been out, while I want to appear on the leaderboards and how long the others have been playing. Besides all that the game looks great to me,

Have you tried looking into private servers? I had a similar phase as you once, I loved being one of the first players on anything (this probably stemmed from 09 Graal lmao) and because of that, end up being one of the best, so i'd literally hop from one server to another because they were new.

Theres always Deadman mode on RS as well, a new season just started so you could possibly look into that as well.

If not, just keep your eyes open and on the lookout for any up and coming MMOs or games now, you'll find one eventually.

Well I want to be one of the first, yes. I like leaving a mark and being a memorable player. I also want to build a wiki of a item database along with forums for players to check out, and help the server

Like Admiral said, Diablo 3 is really fun. Even the grind is entertaining, and with Seasons it's becoming more rewarding to create as many characters as possible. It also runs smoothly on low end computers.

Another option is Path of Exile. This is an MMO that kinda mashes up the modern feel of Diablo 3 with the mechanics of Diablo 2. It's completely free and like Diablo 3 it doesn't require a high end computer.
