Bug Hunting Prizes

Collect enough bugs, and trade them in at the Bug Shop by Mod Town.

Maybe even let players trade bugs, in case they want some other type of prize?
Let's say you have 200 ladybugs, but don't want the ladybug prizes. You trade 200 ladybugs for 200 bees. You then trade in the bees at the shop, and get your desired prize.

You can't trade bugs for gralats, you can only trade bugs for bugs. Players may be able to decide on what they think is a fair trade, depending on rarity :)

This could also help with the lag, since people might end up creating their own areas to spam "trading bugs", away from graal city.

Well, I mean, if they added it later on, or even during this season. It would be nice to have a leaderboard for it as well. It's just another objective, like maps.

For the witch, you don't know which bug is higher valued for the day, until you talk to her. With a shop to trade in your bugs for specific items... you have a goal that you want to reach, and you save up, or trade :)

The problem is medium features arent ever really community inspired. Small things like plates? Yes. Game changing mechanics are hard and have cons. People would spam bug trades etc etc. I like the idea tho.

I don't understand :0. Sure there might be more people, but at least it isn't repetitive. You could save up bugs and trade. You can ask your friendsor whoever, "hey I'll trade 20 bees for 1 green butterfly" (Cause you want that specific green butterfly mount, hat, net, or whatever)

You might try to collect all of a specific type of bug to complete that bugs set.
Example, I don't know how hard it is to get bees, but just going to set an amount, and it all depends on how rare the bug is.

Bee Hat, Bee body (does that already exist?), Bee mount (flys above water), bee bomb, etc.

There is a huge variety of bugs on iclassic. That's a lot of sets.

People can even show off their rare items, gained from the rarer bugs.

Edit:
If they wanted to go even further for more gameplay. They could even add limited edition sets by having (example) golden bugs spawn for a given time (1-2 weeks? all depends on how many people are playing)

I see your point now, but unfortunately such a big change to an old feature of the game would probably take a while to add, if it's considered at all.

How about just leaderboards for bugs?
