Public and Personal Uploads
 

Shields and Swords can now be uploaded for public consumption. Shields and Swords uploaded prior to this update were uploaded as personal graphics which are now only allowed to be used by the player that uploaded them.

Public graphics also use the file name you specify when you upload them so a sword uploaded as fp4s_awesome_sword.png will be uploaded as fp4s_awesome_sword.png when it's approved.

New Personal Shields and Swords codes you are given after being uploaded and approved will also be much shorter.

Before the update you were given a ridiculously long code:
setsword classic_personal_sword_youraccountname-123.png

After the update you are now given a much shorter version of the code:
setsword personal123.png

All swords and shields uploaded before this update can still use the short versions of the code you just need the number at the end of the file name. In the example above that number is 123.

Srs remove this update please some of my friends made shields for me and uploaded so i never can wear them again...

I couldn't care less about code, I just slot it to friends.
Now I have to spend double the money, wow.

Hardly, it's not as though YOU don't have access to YOUR shield so I don't understand why YOU would have to spend double money.

I love thid update, but I'm a little confused about the personal shields and swords we already uploaded. Are these public still or are they private to us now?

They had to fix it somehow. Just be happy you can name your uploads again.

If you have uploaded a shield or sword with the uploads system and it is currently named something like classic_personal_shield_1234567-100.png then it is now personal to you. This means that nobody else can wear that graphic, and you are able to set it through saying "setshield personal100.png" instead of the huge line you were originally given.

Forgot to add in the update that public shields and swords are now 1000g to upload and personal shields and swords are 2500g.
