Looking to be hired on a server
 

I would be interested to be given a chance to be a gp/mod kind of person on any server. (This is not me asking to be an admin on an igraal server) I more looking for pc graal playerworld type servers! Reply if your interested, thanks for your consideration.

Hi! Unfortunately, it is unusual for development servers to have GPs or Mods. I think you'd have better luck applying for a position in need (levels, sounds, scripting) or apply to iPhone Graal servers.

It's also unfortunate I don't level sound make or script lol. Maybe I can try leveling if I'm given the chance.

I did apply for classic but I doubt I will make it onto the team....

Dev servers don't need GPs.
They're called developer servers for a reason.
It's a server still in development.

Why you wanna be staff so bad?

I want to ask the same question lol. Especially for a dev server.
Dev servers are really boring to be a GP on.
You just run around an incomplete gmap, being a hassle to other developers.
Barely any players to monitor.
You barely have any rights, just boots, warpto, RC and that's it.
Trust me, having a job is actually funner than being a GP on a dev server.

Besides from having pretty customs, hats, and powers, you'll pretty much be extremely bored.
Learn some basic GS2 and script a few NPCs. It's not that hard and is pretty fun.
Or you can make a few cool levels. It's just taking tiles and placing it to your imagination.

Your chances of getting hired on a pc server are low especialy with un being gone.

The main issue is pc servers don't need too many moderators since they lack a big playerbase.

Leveling is fun though you should try practicing that.

I am currently leveling for Dev Goldilocks and its cool,
the graal editor can be downloaded from the client you should start using the classic tilset because that is what a lot of tilesets are based off of.

Well since I applied for classic I might have fun there if I'm hired. I think would would be a great GP staff on classic I would have fun and hang out with players unlike some other gp and solve problems. I think it will fun to go outside of battle arena or burger refuge and turn stealth mode off and see the crowd gather around me lol.

They do sometimes for a bit. Then the disappear again lol. Besides what would get hurt appearing out of stealth mode sometimes for a bit? Wouldn't be the first time an admin messed around with their powers. One time there was a horse racing event and I was a noob asking to go to admin island and I got dragged onto a rock lol.

They do sometimes, but only during events or when there are someone really disrupting the game.

And yeah, they do that sometimes for fun. Not the first time they drag someone on a rock or w/e for fun during an event

Unstealthing is fine as long are you aren't flaunting any powers or a staff tag, but it can still attract a lot of attention while your job is to moderate the game, not interact with players.

The only exception to using staff tools unstealthed is while you're hosting an event.

lag lol. it would cause lag.
a whole crowd would dash over to the admin, and lag assails the server

So yeah I could do stuff with events I guess. I would probably be doing lots events lol.

Some more questions. Can gp staff go off map anytime, or is the only exception when they need to ban a hacker who is snooping around in unreleased content? And are they allowed to do giveaways outside of events or can they do giveaways during event without it being a hat or having to compete for it?

There are limits on events to prevent them from being clustered, and so there are GPs patrolling the map and reviewing reports.

There's no such thing as off map. Just a bunch of water.

The only way a GP is a allowed to reward items is when a player wins an event.
