You're thinking of the Red Lamp Inn, which is on the server in a very near-original state and does have a statue of DC in it.

I saw the Red Dragon Inn and mistook the name for the Red Lamp Inn. DarkCloud, a developer on Classic and the person who made the Red Lamp Inn died in 2011. I would have been very upset if the inn was changed.

I remember the Red Dragon Inn now, though. It was near the Uncommon Society guild house. Pretty sure it was way bigger than it is now.
