Someone put nitro in Kingdoms' gas tank lol
I have no clue what exactly happened but Graal Kingdoms is legit getting itself sorted together with all sorts of things AND lots of new content is being shoveled in, nearly every day since a little over a week ago.
Also there are bigger things to come as well. Superbusyrobot says F4L has nearly finished the new race system, complete with a reputation mechanic. You can ally up with a particular race and do various quests and get rewarded for having high reputation amongst a race. Interestingly enough this all happened very suddenly after staff seemingly had stopped being on the server for a while. I guess they were buckling down on getting some good stuff all whipped together so content could hit the ground running when implemented. |

Too bad it's still built on a ****ty game engine and that the server comes with nothing that attracts most of us to Graal in the shape of gorgeous 2D graphics.

Kingdoms needs to make the game easier for new players before they do anything else. The game is not explained well at all, and too many low level things were made more difficult to stop higher level players from farming easily. I'm willing to bet that the new content being added is for lvl110s.

Cool. Now I want them to make gold keys more easily obtainable, make kingdoms more relevant and competitive, and nerf alchemy. Or instead of making gold keys easier to get, make stat potions obtainable in other ways. The fetch quests are never shown to new players, they are too random, they are too difficult to figure out, and, in my opinion, they have no place in the game. Especially when you have to do them to get an item that is absolutely vital to playing the game.
It's funny how none of the new players know that the true grind is getting enough plat to cycle through the shops until you get the alchemy recipes that allow you to level up super fast and to get infinite amounts of plat. |

The current plan as I've been told is that each god will have one attack type for blessings and one immunity, not sure about granted artifacts and prayers. There are going to be more gods implemented so these attack types and immunities are spread out and there will be new gods for most of the possible attack types and resistances/immunities. So far one new god is on the verge of release, Tiamat. Superbusyrobot is trying to figure out what to do about the attack type since Tiamat will probably get chaos but he also is wanting to put chaos on artifact weapons for new special quests, as soon as he figures things out though it should be good to go. |
