Account Security
With the recent issues involving account security, do you think players should be required to have 4-6 digit pin codes? Would be a lot more difficult for people to access your account or modify anything (disban guilds, sell items, ruin stats, etc).
The only downside I see to having a pin is the few more seconds that it takes to access the account. If someone logs onto your account using another ip, the server should notify you that another ip address has accessed your account. (Sends you the pm, the next time the account is connected with the original owner's ip) Should also disallow players to modify guilds when the new device that was "permitted" has only gotten access for 1-3 days. |
Or just don't share your email with people and don't give you account to anyone ?
|
Use an email provider like Gmail which offers two-factor authentication, this makes it incredibly difficult and unlikely for anyone to be able to access your account
|
Plenty of security already in place. This is unecessary.

Even I'm always worried about that stuff. Thankfully, I don't use that email for anything besides graal, but not everyone is like that. Quote:

Could always use more secuirty, but that's up to the community. I have never had any issues with my accounts. If anything I got someone else banned once (not their fault, but mine), but since they used my account on their ip (would buy gralat packs for me), they got banned along with me. |

I totally agree that recently things got WAY out of hand but you gotta remember that the only way to prevent that is to not be ******ed. Carlito was not hacked, he was scammed. A thirty-something year old man was scammed by a child and that right there is pathetic and just another one of Graal's counter-intuitive assets.
I know how he scammed him too, funny ****. |
Even if there was extra security , if your stupid enough to get scammed , your stupid enough to give them the security information they need no matter how much it is.
What drives people to get scammed is the belief that they will benefit from what ever is being purposed , adding an extra password won't make them realise that there is no real benefit in time. |

Googles account authenticator could be an idea to improve security when logging into your account, would be annoying tho

I really wish I could change my email, though. Contacted support and never got a response. The email that I used for Graal I can no longer access and now I'm out of luck. Only can access Graal on PC now.
