Alpho's Jingles & Musiq

Hello there!

I will be creating little jingles and soundtracks for an upcoming server project I'm working on. I will also post sound effects and even music I'm working on for other things in here. I hope to get lots of constructive criticism :)

Starting off this thread with Version 2 of the login music that we will be using on the new server Euphoria, which has been renamed to something else :o.

Here it is!

Thank you :)

You should make it more graceful and less heavy. The piano notes are too acute.

I play various musical instruments in real life and love composing
Although I've never learnt how to make songs on the computer.
How do you do it what programs do you use?

It sounds amazing in my opinion.
Really giving off that fantasy mmorpg vibe.

Thank you everybody for the feedback!

Here's another song I'm working on with a friend, on a professional level. We are planning on getting a female or male singer to sing on top of it. The thought also crossed our mind to tease the drop in the beginning as well, though it kind of takes away from the feel of the song. Our Artist Name is Duality, and this song does not have a name yet. Let me know what you all think so far of our track. Thank you!

I will try to make them more soft and graceful. (Velocity Decreased)

Making songs on the computer really is all about your knowledge of the program, or DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), that you use. This is where you do your graphics pixeling, but .. for music. You make music in your DAW, yeah. It also helps a lot to have a MIDI-Controller / MIDI-Piano/Keyboard so that your melody that you play is put directly into the DAW.

Your choice of DAW completely revolves around personal choice and what operating system you use. There are different DAWs for macOS than Windows. I use macOS, my DAW is Logic Pro X. Two other popular DAWs for macOS are Ableton and ProTools. As for Windows, you should look into FL Studio (Fruity Loops), Ableton and ProTools. FL Studio is the Windows-Only, and Logic Pro X is the macOS-Only ;). They all range in price. If you plan on going into this professionally, I recommend Logic Pro X, Ableton, FL Studio, in that order.

Garage Band will only get you so far. It is good for recording live production and other basic things. Though you cannot produce with plugins like Logic Pro X. There are torrents available though if you'd like to go that option..

@ alpho
I think I'll give Fl studios a shot.
I always have music in my head but I've never gotten it written down which is a shame perhaps this could give me the opertunity to do so.
If it doesn't work out I'l be doing things the old fashioned way ;)
