Looking for a song
 

Hey everyone, my TV Production class makes a video every year called "Senior Memories" which is a buch of segments put together to make an ~hour long movie. This year I was assigned to make the opening/closing and I'm posting today to see if any of you can help me look for a song for these segments. For example, last year for closing Verge by Owl City ft. Aloe Blacc was used and this is quite possibly the perfect choice because

• it's literally about graduating
• its upbeat and has a good drop
• easy to edit to

so I'm kinda looking for a song like that. One I had in mind was Finale by Madeon but people have said its "too intense" or "not enough lyrics", which I can sort of agree with. I was also thinking The Days/The Nights by Avicii but the lyrics aren't exactly related to graduation. Any help from you guys would be much appreciated!

You could use 7 Years by Lukas Graham for the closing

I like that song, but it doesn't really have a "drop" and what I mean is that there needs to be a part in the song where baloons can fall and confetti and stuff. Know what I mean?

any Moon Man song will set the mood, or maybe some Johnny Rebel

I've always enjoyed Graduation Song by Vitamin C, but I'm not sure if this is the style you're looking for.

I actually did propose this song but was denied for it not having a drop/not upbeat etc. I appreciate the suggestion though!

This song is pretty good and it took me until halfway through to realize that Lupe Fiasco I guess, "sampled" some of this song in his song The Show Goes On. Thanks for the suggestion
