my uncle lives 8 minutes away from the beach in Melbourne, and didn't evacuate :unsure:

hits my area at about 4 AM
didn't evacuate, lived in Florida my entire life and have stuck around for every hurricane but I do expect to be out of power for days starting tomorrow

this really confused me until I learnt that Melbourne is also a city in Florida
