Email both attached to account and not attached?
I've been trying to get support for 2+ months on an issue I'm having with my iClassic account. I was told very early on by Xor (indirectly) that I would have to e-mail unixmad, however my e-mail to unixmad was sent 2 months ago and I've had no support.
Posting here to see if anyone's had the issue and if so was there a fix/what was it? Here's the issue: My main account was attached to the email [email protected]. I have my main PC+browser which this account is always logged into. When I access iClassic on this PC from this browser and check the identify tab in my menu it tells me the e-mail is registered: "You are currently logged into an account associated to the e-mail address [email protected]". However, when I go to another PC or just a different browser on the same PC (you would have to re-identify in both cases) and try to identify using that e-mail I get the error message: "There is no Graal account yet for [email protected], click on create to create one." There's several problems here: A) I cannot access my account. B) My accounts appears to both exist and not exist. C) I can't log out of my account, switch browsers, get a new PC or anything or my account is gone. D) I can't create a new account because that will likely overwrite my account somehow or cause even bigger issues. Anyone come across this before? |
Schrödinger's Graal Identification Account.
Seriously though I would suggest instead of emailing an admin or Unixmad about your account being locked down on one browser, email either of them with a request to move the account to a different email address (obviously using the accounts current email so they know you are the owner). lol I'm back after a few months and this is my first post after returning when have I actually tried to help people |
email toonslab -> email Xor -> email unixmad -> email toonslab (repeating)

I know someone who had a similar experience, where his account and email got separated. But he did something illegal in his end, so there was no way to turn things back.

definitely doesn't sound like a random error or mistake. |
