Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (No Spoilers Unless Noted)

I read the script and I was just wondering if anyone has read it and their thoughts.

They characters are interesting, if not a bit predictable, but I really liked it.

Actual spoilers below:

But really though, Delphini had the most obvious character development ever. I mean really? Voldemort and Bellatrix's kid? It almost read like a bad fanfiction, however I still liked it, honestly. Doesn't exactly feel like Harry Potter though.

Production Photos (no spoilers):

As an avid theatre fan, I will admit the show looks very impressive. I really want to see it one day to see how they end up doing all the required effects. Though from the production photos the lighting is gorgeous, I'm a fan of the costumes, and the set itself is very well done and designed.

She's there. There was a bit of controversy over the casting, but this is what JK Rowling had to say about it:

Not that I have nothing against Hermione being black, but Rowling DID actually describe in the books Hermione being white, and this was just her trying to be smart

Nonetheless, it doesn't matter, and I'd love to go see it in theatre

I guess Hermione switched to black magic

That's unfortunate then. But yes, I agree with you.
