OSRS Harcore Ironman

It's basically the same as a normal ironman (not being able to trade, having to do all damage on a monster for it to count, having to get everything yourself, etc) but the big difference is that when you die you lose your hardcore status and are reverted to a normal ironman. This also locks your hardcore ironman progress in the hiscores and you'd have to make a new account in order to try it again. Click here to play: http://oldschool.runescape.com/ How to start a Hardcore Ironman? Once you get to the end of the tutorial island (near the wizard) you can talk to the person with the red armor. This guy will give you the option to become a Hardcore Ironman and also gives you the option wether you want your account to be able to be changed back to a normal account whenever you like by providing a bank pin (runescape bank pin lol). Keep in mind the bank pin will also be used to access your bank throughout the game so remember it. Hopefully this thread interests you to play this aswell. Runescape has been getting a lot more attention recently and is actually growing quite rapidly again. So I thought I'd go ahead and make a thread to hopefully remember people of runescapes existence and that it's far from dead. This sounds fun I love Runescape and all but sounds like a *recipe for disaster* considering server lag can kill you and it happens a decent amount

Runescape doesn't lag at all unless you live in Australia which they have actively been working on fixing and it has gotten a lot better there.

Server never lags and I live in the netherlands so the chances of me ever dc'ing is very small. Ofc if it does somehow happen I'll be mad but I could laugh about it. Can always revert to regular account :p
Currently doing wintertodt to 99 firemaking since it's really profitable for ironman and it's a lot easier while you're still on low hp. So far I have around 300k cash and a lot of herbs, seeds, ores, logs and some other materials. If I don't have a dragon axe from the reward crates at 99 fm then I'll probably just get 75% Hosidius house favor so I can enter the woodcutting guild and buy a rune hatchet. Then I'll grind out woodcutting and use all the logs for fletching. Not sure what I'll do after that, probably fishing and cooking for food though. These are currently my main goals and I will most likely do some other stuff inbetween (quests, pvm, etc) so I don't get too bored of the skills. |
You should get fishing up to 40 as I think you get better rewards from wintertodt if you have higher in the skill

Been playing for an hour per day, on a F2p account, since launch. I'm nearly at 20 combat.

They should of make it like RS3 hardcore ironman, when you die you lose complete access to the account.
I have an UIM account which means you can't use banks only the 28 inventory slots you have , most likely going to get 99 fishing/cooking then woodcutting/firemaking/feltching while doing 104m runecrafting xp on my main acc and HCIM on RS3 |
