R.I.P Fidel castro: 1926-2016

As you may know, Fidel Castro, the revolutionist who became dictator of Cuba, died today aged 90. Fidel was one of the most influential people of the 20th century, after all, due to his allegiance with Russia, nuclear war almost happened with America. Certainly some of the things he did was not great, he also did some good things. Rest in peace Fidel. Im sure there are a few people on here who disagree with what he did.

**** this guy LOL. I'm glad that dictator finally joined people such as Stalin and Hitler.

I visited Cuba when I was younger and all I remember from the experience was huge graffiti of his face over the walls of large buildings and almost everywhere you looked

I had a different experience
I go to cuba every year
And I see people praising what Fidel had done to the country.
These people don't need America they've done fairly well with what they have
Their education and medecin are supperrior to that of the "Free World"

Fidel had done many great things for this world and its a shame to see this man pass away.

Fidel defied the system and survived without it Rest in peace Castro

He was oppressive and hurt many lives. For any person in power to inevitably retain control over their people, they must give them things to enjoy. People with nothing to lose will revolt, but people who have things to lose will not. Just because he may have done some "good things" doesn't at all mean he was a good person. Serial killers have held a door open for someone at some point in their lives, but they aren't considered good people. Have you not seen Fast Five?

This all this! Also, Hitler was considered a great man as well and definitely was a genius that helped Germany's economy get back on track but unfortunately he was well a psychopath lol.

MikvaGraal 11-27-2016 12:36 AM

Rest in peace? Let's hope he rots in hell.

He's probably with Stalin and Lenin right now. Although his ideals weren't fully about communism.

Skyzer 11-27-2016 09:59 AM

He's finally joined the club.

Yea, lol. When someone has you executed for poor posture, then I'm sure everyone would worship him as if he was their god.
