Basics:
-Two rows of leads from different time zones. (One row if they're really active).
-Don't pass leadership no matter what.
-Have ally guilds as sub guilds.
-Main a tower (consistency is important).
-Don't spam guild chat, important messages may be swamped by useless messages.
-Optional: Alliances/truces with other strong guilds that dominate.

Note: There are no guild rewards currently so really there won't be a lot of good people joining right now (since most people want to play for rewards), once the new guild rewards system is implemented then there will be an influx of competing guilds again.

Thanks, also thats the reason I want to try. Since not many guilds are towering I thought it would be a good chance

Tip: Don't call it a "1k" anymore, a lot of players probably shake their head when they see guilds still saying things like, "join our journey to 1k". Stopping at 1,000 hours shouldn't be a thing anymore, I have no clue why guilds have still been doing it.

sorry, its just out of habit.

Not everyone wants to tower non-stop, one-thousand hours is a completely reasonable goal for someone who wants to experience towering but has no intentions of doing it as their main activity.

I towered once in 2012 just to experience it, the only other time I towered was Illusive with friends in the final month of guild rewards and there was a boost of activity but even then I was not that active with it and it probably was not as pleasurable for me as it was for others.

Some people just do not like sitting in towers all day, that's completely reasonable and I think the one-thousand hour 'journey' is fair.

Go for 21K and beat CoM

To clarify, I meant towering for fun with no goal at all in mind, not about going past 1k.

Get 3 friends and go take a tower,

It's just that easy now.

If you're playing on a tablet or phone, get a second device nearby. If you're on a PC, have a second monitor. You're going to need something else to do while you sit around.

Why do people still say "doing a 1k," "1k guild?" There is no reward for this anymore. So why not just start a "tower guild" with the goal of getting as many hours as you can?

That is exactly what I've said to the vast majority that currently tower or stopped previously at 1K. It seems highly illogical to stop when there's no guild prizes and the seasonal guild fort leaderboard resets every season. Might as well go for 10K if anything.

I wonder if people think that since they hit 1K whenever the new system comes out they get the reward?
