Graal Classic/Era/Zone Preference
 

Hey,

I'm quite new to Graal, only starting in December last year. I was wondering what people's thoughts are on Classic/Era/Zone and which one they prefer to play - I was recommended to play Era by a friend but was curious on other people's opinions!

Depends on what type of gameplay you like.

If you like swords and a non-P2W enviroment, go with Classic. Everyone has the same weapons (which is sword, bow, and bombs) to make it an equal playing field. Personally not my type but if you like LoZ, you'll feel nearly right at home with Classic.

If you like guns then try Era. Be warned though as most of the high tier guns are at a hefty price making the game P2W. You can work with jobs but the gralat payouts are so low. The community is also very toxic compared to the other Graal games. Besides all that, Era is my favorite server since I love 2d dual stick shooters and love online open world PvP.

Zone is..in a weird place right now. If you like futuristic shooters I say give it a try? But honestly Zone haven't been as good these past few months. It's supposed to be getting a tileset revamp but who knows when that's coming? Give it a try if you want but I'll prefer Era/Classic rn over Zone anyday until the server reaches the potential I wish it would reach.

This is pretty accurate, and I am a Classic player. From the competitive standpoint, I think because of the more even playing field, Classic takes more skill to be successful at while the others take more, well, money (although I'm sure skill isn't totally irrelevant or anything). However, as far as I know, Classic seems to be the most social server. So if you're mainly looking for that, I would recommend it too. Don't get me wrong though, Classic does have it's competitive side, I'm just saying it's got a good mix of both.

The other servers may also have pretty social enviromwnts and communities, maybe even up to the level Classic does, but I wouldn't be able to tell you. I'll let someone from those give you insight on that!

I play classic, even though I've tried the others as well. The reason why I prefer classic is because
1. skill based (as mentioned before)
2. way easier to earn money than the other servers (based off of my view as a beginning player on each and just figuring out how things work)
3. Graphics.

But anyway, I started off playing Classic until I got hacked, but I loved decorating my house! I went to Era after that and I liked it a lot. I eventually got bored of Graal and if you think real hard, it's not worth your money. I lost way too much, so I don't spend too much money.

Failed RuneScape clones are irrelevant.

Ol'West is a prehistoric version of era, literally theme wise and also in terms of gameplay. I don't like the toxic community and gameplay of era in comparison to when it was first released and Ol'West gives a sort of nostalgia when everything was fresh and the community was small enough where you could know everybody

classic is the closest to an actual graal server

era looks and plays like ****

the rest are a joke dont even entertain the idea of playing them
