How has sparring evolved?
 

I've been sparring since late 2013's but I was never on to spar that much. I've noticed that sparring has changed a LOT. I've seen many players have changed their sparring styles. Like , I've seen zetectic's video of pro sparrers and sparring seemed much less complicated in 2013 than now in 2017.

I hardly spar. It's been the same to me since I joined.

It's been almost 20 years and all of the mechanics of sparring have been made public in detail, so there's really no room left for discovering anything. The sparring community is basically in the hands of the playercount and the behavior of players right now, and that's probably a horrible spot for it to be in based on the VPNing, speeding, etc.

isn't it just doing C motions and spamming your sword

Man evolved to use a vpn to make winning easier and make them harder to hit, it really is survival of the fittest in the BA.

I'm not sure about Spar but Guild Spar is a lot more.
