Was this really a good reason for a ban?
 

With the GST coming up and all, I figured i'd give it a shot. i've never GSTd in my life and i've played this game for a few years, so i figured i'd give it a shot. i made a pretty good team, and we were doing good from what it seemed. we hit like 6k score, and we were all hype af.

however, tragedy struck. my status said the following: "<font size=12>fettywaps mixtape zoovier is my ****<br><br>ballerboyz gst"

then of course, the word "****" isn't at all filtered by graal, nor has anyone i know ever got banned for saying "****" after they lose a spar or glitch out or something. just like the word crap isn't filtered out, I figured having "is my ****" in my status was OK because it wasn't really vulgar, offensive, or harassing. If the word gets filtered out, the word is sh/it.

we had just beat gHETTO in a spar when the notorious blue message popped up. it told me my status got reset by an administrator.
then, my guildchat went into a frenzy. "MY STATUS GOT RESET, I THINK WE'RE MISSING ONE CORE FOR GST, I DIDNT SAY ANYTHING OFFENSIVE I DONT THINK I'LL GET BANNED THO" then I began a mad dash towards the registration counter to see if I could quickly add a core to my mixed, qualifying them for the gst. I wasn't fast enough apparently, because I got struck down and banned for 167 hours, which puts me out of the GST if my ban is not appealed.

by the way the appeals usually go, and by the fact that some of my tickets from days ago still havent been answered, (including one about how they didnt give me my gralats after paying real money for them), it seems like my hopes of atleast making it into the GST are not only done, but even worse, I showed a graal group chat the ban and forgot to filter out my ID. even worse, i had a really cool valentines event crown on that acc and a 1-0 positive spar ratio i wanted to build off of.

was this really a good reason for a ban? and especially, a 167 hour ban? the admin banning me obviously knew it was harsh and the gst was coming up.

Some admins are just little bishes looking for a reason to ban someone for their status.

Could have been reported a bunch by some scrubs, too. If it offends someone else, then it's a good reason for a ban. But, ye know admins, they don't care what event comes up, and don't care for warnings if you've been banned before.

I feel like a 72 hour ban would suffice for "****" but thats just me.

I would have been less annoyed with a 72 hour ban. it gets the point across, and leaves my unbanned group members time to keep the gs score up, so i can just be back right before GST and we can reunite.

I still don't think its a good reason for a ban, but this just completely kebabd me

If what you say is true then you shouldn't have been banned at all.
You didn't write anything vulgar nor did you evade the swear filter as you censored the entire thing you wanted to say.

yeah, i was honest. no point in lying because i'm already banned and i've already lost any hope in making the GST. i think graalians censors the word sh/it for me though, because graal doesn't. graal lets you say sh/it without evading it like its a regular word, and it has let you do that for years, and since i joined in 2012, not me nor anyone i know has EVER gotten in trouble for saying "oh sh/it, i just lost the spar." or "oh sh/it, i just lagged out lol."

stupid reason to get banned

the funny thing is they ban people for saying ass. If they want no people to say ass then filter the word dangit. Same thing with sh/it. If people are offended by these "silly" words that are "bad" even though they shouldn't be then don't just keep it out of the swear filter. TBH if its like this they might as well uncensor bit/ch and rape and sex and stupid words like that.

considering i got banned 24 hours for feedbacking "Yo give me one of them resets",

i'd say by that standard, ya; it was worth the ban.
