new spring map
 

I chatted with blackfires yesterday and he said the gani team and him are making a new spring map, and it wont be called spring anymore sadly. He said that the old one was too buggy(obviously they caused it.) and that it need a change. The new map will have the same functions as spring, but why change the name?

I still don't get how a levels team can script a better map without glitches, or how a sounds and graphics team could do that.

Unless this new spring map isn't a sidescroller like Spring is and isn't really a new Spring map.

all blackfire said was that the new map was gonna have the same functions but just a different map meaning only one thing changed, but it'll be sad once the name is changed, we may forget, this game is gonna be nothing but a ghost game soon with no one left if someone in charge doesnt take a stand like idk someone like unixmad.:rolleyes:

Graal is an engine and in it can certainly do sidescrolling. Problem is most of the time the physics aren't done right and they recycle the top-down graphics for sprites which makes it feel wrong.

If Dusty can make Graal into Mario Kart then Graal can be made into anything

Well yeah obviously can be done but I don't feel it fits in the game well as everything else is different -Makes me also wonder if anyone has had an idea of making a full server in this kind of way or totally different to the normal look of most graal servers

so they just showed a pic of the new spring on the news, opinions, thoughts?
