New Guild System - Lets talk about rewards/points.
So the new guild system is currently looking to be coming soon (I hope).
What rewards are ideal to the keep the balance of a guild working as a team in mind, I can think of quite a few different ways this could be implemented, here are a few: Guild Point Shop For this to work I'm going to go ahead and say that the owner of the guild and those who have a higher rank (as seen in the image fp4 posted of the guild systems rankings and how they can be used) should be the only ones able to purchase things inside a "guild point shop". This could include
Entry Into GST To be honest, I'm aware this idea may not sit well with a lot of people who participate in GST's however I think it's a good way to show which guilds are competitive and which guilds will happily sacrifice some guild points for entry into a GST. I think the best way for this to work is to charge a guild 500-1000 (a lower number so a guild will at least need to work to enter and participate in a gst). Sort of like a "GST ticket". Have any ideas of your own? feel free to brain storm in this thread and see if you can come up with something fp4 may be able to use! |
No again please lol. Can't you just wait for it instead of spreading false rumors?

Whatever the rewards are, I hope to see the scope of 'guild points' (if that's what happens) applied to stuff like bug catching, looting, and other activities than just towering and spar.

All-time points leaderboards please.

that would be unfair if all the members were earning points and only the higher ranks get to take advantage over it. How about a difference between Individual guild points (IGP) which can be used for the guild shop and buying individual spar wins, house likes, player kills, baddy kills, and maybe even candy pieces, and regular guild points that a higher ranked can turn into guild towering minutes or guild sparring wins.
Also this is my 800th post lol. |
I've put a decent amount of thought into this and I can't believe I never thought of the hat/accessory/mount ticket idea. I just assumed gfx staff would stock the entire shop but this makes much more sense. I still do hope to see some really high-quality pieces in there from gfx staff though.
One thing I wonder about a lot is what the prices will be like. I hope there are a couple of really expensive items in there, like maybe a hat or two made by gfx staff that will take quite a while to save up for, even for the best guilds. Quote:

Another thing that would be cool is to use guild points to give the members a free capsule machine spin or something like that. I think it could be cool to be able to use guild points to give the members of the guild a random event/admin hat or something. |
No ^^^
It'd be a huge waste to give (1)member such a gift, also it would be super unfair towards the others that didn't get a gift. My opinion is that only high ranks should be able to buy stuff with guildpoints for the whole guild. |

Catching candies from ghosts, or collecting easter eggs are one thing. Events could work. Looting, and bug catching are another. Don't see why they would let players gain points from something that is already used to gain gralats. Not to mention that these activities aren't team based. This game has never been p2w, so I doubt that they would add any multipliers, in order to gain an advantage. If there won't be an overall guild points leaderboard, then having multipliers would be great for TLab. They could have paid multipliers, which give a boost to every guild member and/or free multipliers, which are gained from having members be 50% active. They probably won't add anything "advanced" like this though. As far as rewards go, I believe they will be pre-made items. They've been trying to stop custom hat uploads for a while now. Probably because hats from other games have been accepted, whilst being only slightly modified. Maybe coco's house is an example of what new guild houses would look like. The house has a lot of rooms. The shop would probably include expansions, such as a spar arena. Maybe even unique furniture (sets?), that could only be used in new guild house. I don't think gst entry tickets are a good idea. What happens when 50+ guilds already have their guild spar scores above 6000/7000. Are they not allowed to enter, because 50 guilds have already purchased their tickets? |
GST entry idea made me think some. On one hand, it seems like a nice way to ensure only true guilds can participate, and eliminate last minute teams from entering. On the other, it could mean that there are more teams that are able to enter, which can't be allowed due to time constraints.
What could be done is use the ticket entry system and add on the requirement that only the top 32 or 64 in said "NGS points" will participate, and the guilds who purchased the entry ticket that did not qualify get refunded the points. Just a thought. |
•Guild bombs
•Guild arrows/bows •Guild nets (bug nets) •Guild shovels •More bug nets •More shovels •VIP tickets I really want to see guild bases be added into the game like on era however you buy them for guild points rather than for 4,000 guild hours. Also I’d like to say i really like the idea, it reminds me of ol’west |

New levels being constantly added for these so called collaborative guild houses? Sounds like even more lag. Already bad enough for houses and guild houses being made all the time. Although it would probably cost a ton of points to add a level. |
