Sleepy Hollow House Project
 

Some of you may know that we've been working on a project for October in the guild "House Designers" with a loose theme regarding the legend of "Sleepy Hollow."

The houses are ready for viewing, linked up with statues for those who would like to come and see. We would appreciate feedback on the designs, and I have set up a quick 5-question survey allowing us to gather public opinion and give out a small gralat reward to the best houses:

Please note that we encouraged players of all skill levels to participate - the only requirement was to have 2 statues and some furniture to build a location in our re-imagining of the town of "Sleepy Hollow" and that the design was something in regards to the theme of the same. Players with more experience thus helped out players with less experience, creating an event where not only were we building, but also learning how to build better!

Not everyone spends all their time in the game sparring or towering... or whatever it is your judgemental little self does :) In fact we encouraged every single player who signed up (more than 40 at the outset, who were cut down to what's left over the course of the month) to NOT purchase new items in order to participate.

If this were an actual official collaboration that the staff had somehow promoted and/or included in the game, there are many ways that there could have been purchases and spending involved. As is, it's a bunch of people who had furniture and decided to work together to make something neat.

I don't play the game at all. (logging on for 5 min a day to pm a few ppl)

1.) You are then, an active daily user that participates in the game.
2.) I made no specification as to WHAT behaviour you participated in within the confines of said game (and thus no judgement).
3.) If you don't play it, why the hell are you wasting time trawling the forum?

Btw, amazing house designs. Good to see houses that should actually be at the top of the score list but are not recognized in game.
