Wtf are you on lol
If we do live drafts or something, then there will be top 3-5 teams that have all the good players and that's GST all over again. And all you're doing really is extending GST into separate dates while trying to randomize players(Won't work too well because there's always going to be 3+ teams with ALL ACE players).
Don't call Dark out lol. If you give him more attention, he'll give you some more attention.

well, A draft would work like this...
Team captain names are entered into a randomizer, the randomizer picks out a random name for first selection. That name is removed and its spun again for the next name. This creates the draft order, and the first round happens. Then it reverses (so the last pick of the first round has the first pick of the second round, but the first pick of first round has last pick of second round.) Then it reverses again, so on so forth.
Provided a decent amount of people were to come online and enter a place for the draft, there would be very balanced teams. It'd be entirely up to the team captain to decide how he builds this team. Any team becoming too "overpowered" would be the result of good gsing and teamwork, rather then a team having "all ace players."
Continuing from that, teams could probably just swap players down the road if they thought a move would benefit them in a sort of "trade." Cause leaving it entirely up to the draft is boring. No team would still get all the 'Ace' players still, unless there were some lopsided trades, still making it very unlikely to have an "all alumni" or "all VIS" or "all Azteca" team. (No smart team captain will trade Fulgore to a team for Carnage in example.)

How about seven teams that represent the seven cities/towns? York, Belle, Destiny, Snow, Swamp, Graal City, MoD...

I think that's possible, but 7 times is an odd number so it'd work out kinda weird. 7x7 is 49 which is a reasonable amount of people for the entire league probably, but maybe 8 or 10 teams (even number) would work.
I'm not sure if people would really want to represent certain cities, but I think that'd be really dope. I think stuff like uniforms have to be ruled out to stay true to graals gsing, but cities is a cool thought.
Again though, the chances of this happening is highly unlikely. 7x8 is 56, so to have 8 full teams, we'd need 56 participants. The chances of that happening in full cooperation is kind of a long shot as well, cause I can imagine (certain) individuals throwing fits about what team picked them or whatever.
