New Uploading System
 

Hello, everyone.

This thread will serve as a hub to inform you all about our new uploading system. You're all welcome to post any constructive comments or questions you have in regards to it.

This new system has also been added to Era, so it's nothing too foreign. We'll have signs in the Information Kiosk for people who don't frequently view the forum.

When you refund an upload you will receive 'Upload Tokens' instead of gralats. You can use these tokens when you pay for new uploads. Upload tokens will cover the cost of new uploads you submit until you have spent them. Any remaining amount you owe will be paid with gralats.

Can we get refunding gralats as well as with "upload tokens"
What was wrong with the old system of doing it
Any reason for this instead?

How do we get Upload tokens? Are they like gralats? And how come we now have a new uploading system when the old one seemed fine?

1.How much tokens does it take to buy a head/upload?

2. How many tokens do you get from refunding?

So is this basically just to prevent people from getting a quick gralat injection from refunding an upload? (they'll have to buy a gralat pack instead now)

My opinion, I think this is to get people to buy more gralats...like yeah tokens work...but after a while of buying and refunding you run out of tokens..then you go to gralats...well it semi-forces you to get them...because if you don't have enough tokens you have to pay with all gralats.. (if I am correct).

Also, maybe like add a way of buying them with gralats...So like for example Amazon...you pay 99 cents for 100 Amazon Coins...maybe do like 999 gralats for 1100 tokens or something.

i think this new system is pointless tbh, the old one was fine and no one seemed to complain about it so i think this change was unnecessary

everyone calling it unnecessary must be forgetting exactly where we are (new guild system)

This change was made to make graal more money

* pretends to be shocked * sure it benefits other people but what about us

I'm sorry, you actually think anyone cares about us? As said in another thread...Portha steals our money, and steals other people's ideas and claims them for himself. Whether we like it or not.

Adding circus tokens etc was just the beginning it seems.

Honestly i have no bad feelings for this new update so far.

what the hell was the point in doing this

The upload token system is a band aid fix for a serious bug that some players were abusing to generate tons of gralats for nothing. The bug isn't something that scripters can fix, so the only real option is to work around it. No one wanted to add upload tokens but they are the best solution currently available.
