Will furniture prices ever be restored?

Feels really uncomfortable and unfair to be unable to resell common furniture

I think its to discourage people from selling their furniture. Back in the day whenever there was a new event i'd sell all my furniture to get money to buy things, but now im discouraged to do so because all my stuff can only be sold at 10 gralats. It helps the economy.

Rusix 09-20-2018 08:41 PM

I kinda wish the furniture resell prices was fixed, I have so many furniture things i wanna sell but im gonna get 10 gralats for something i paid 4k for. Which makes it extremely difficult for F2P players to get something like the Nexus wolf mount or the 2p mounts at stable. Because if you decied "Hey let's sell furniture because i got 200k worth of 5k costing item" You'd literally get like 400 or so gralats if you sold it all. That's not even enough for the 500 so nexus hat. And you spent 200k on furniture to not even get that

Sometimes I miscalculate and by too much stuff. If we could just have the 1/2 resale price back, I'd be happy.

Uncomfortable? I agree. I still haven't managed to drop enough stuff to buy anything at nexus. It's not an issue of not having the gralats, just deciding on where I want to vomit 1500 objects in my furniture inventory. Basically I have to sacrifice rooms in my layout in order to have enough space to buy things. It really really sucks.

BUT if there was no furniture cap this would not be an issue.

Unfair? I agree to a point. They can set the resale value of any item (or just give you nothing at all for it in lieu of 'trashing it' technically). This is reasonable and should somehow impact who buys what items over time. Take uploads for example - you get no actual cash back anymore and because of this, I can only imagine people think twice before buying them now. It's reasonable, clearly outlined, and absolutely the norm in other games.

BUT there was no warning.

If there was a big old 'Hey faithful players, we're going to reduce the furniture values from 1/2 sale price to 10 gralats in a week's time, so please sell what you don't want now' it would have been fair and good. Same with retroactively devaluing items that people had paid full price on (halloween) or reducing the value of items that had previously been higher from events (christmas/halloween).

I had paid some 5-10k g for the 'bat' furniture items (bookshelves, clock, etc) and now they're being given away for essentially nothing in the grab bags. At the time, I was like 'where did the ones I paid for go?' but then I realized they were included in the stack of items I had received from grab bags and were now not possible to sell except for 1 g.

Not to thump a dead horse, but this all goes back to a solid monetization strategy.

Agreed, It wouldve been very nice to have a warning, Even nicer if we could remove furiture limits I have a very similar problem, I have like 500-700 ( not including ones placed down in house and gh)or so furniture items, And if i wanted to buy a nexus painting or something ill have to drop almost all it into a room, Or several if one room gets too laggy. It would be nice if the limit was if not removed atleast increased to a reasonable amount. 200 is extremely low, I literally have over 200 alone in simple conveyor belts

Furniture Prices

More directly towards devs and stuff but when will the furniture prices return to normal? I got stuff I want to sell and all but can't. It would be nice to see the prices return to normal.

Rusix 10-13-2018 11:02 PM

I really don't think they ever will intend to return prices, I know what you mean, We all do. I have like hundreds of furniture items i collected over the years, Sometimes i don't want some of it. Especially when I gotta make room to buy more stuff. This is annoying because I have prob spent over millions of gralats worth of stuff in furniture. They originally did it to stop people who got random duplicate furniture. But since furniture duplication stopped they still don't seem to have plans to change it back.

I have spent millions on furniture too. This is one of the main reasons I’ll never spend money on Graal again.

I’m also curious about the price adjusting? My turtle stash is ready to be sold :D

But the furniture duplicating is all fixed? That’s pretty damn good news right there

I quit graal because it just keeps getting more and more expensive.

Letting go isn't easy but that's simply because of this:

Say what now?

You only get upload tokens, no gralats. Cheese.

Also, furniture resale price is now 1/10th of whatever the original sale price was.

Kind of a slap in the face.

Rusix 10-16-2018 08:13 AM

Seriously? Just make it 50% off like it was. Like 4-Lom said that's a slap in the face, more like multiple slaps. Kinda bull

Sir Travis 10-16-2018 03:13 PM

Upon further reflection, I was wrong

I’ll bet there are a few people sitting around with loads of duplicated stuff just waiting for the moment to sell.....

Hell of a hole we are sitting in :D

How do you sift through it all to find the duplicated stuff? Is that even remotely possible?

I ended up with like 15 duplicated plates, I imagine some people went full speed and duplicated anything and everything they could

Hell of a thing
