What do you think about iera sparring?

I've seen number of people unhappy about iera sparring. I was told that pc era had balanced gameplay, so I checked it out. I am surprised that pc era is possible to beat people with expensive guns while you use guns that aren't that expensive. I'm even more surprised that melee weapons are very good even when you fight against gun people. Even cheap melee weapons do well. It also felt fun sparring in pc.

Some of you are aware that bottom huggers are nearly impossible to beat and sometimes you may need to sacrifice some hp so that you get the bottom side. Some of you complain of bullet spamming because you can't dodge them. Sometimes you can't even get the bottom or even give your opponent damage because you have a bad gun.

I'll be very honest with you guys. When you see me use bad guns, you would tell me to go buy an m4. I have an m4 already. I use m4 to spar. I don't find it fun. All good spar guns are mostly spam guns and hug the bottom area very well.

Now just because you would start thinking that spam guns are overpowered. Well, if Pc era is balanced, it has spam guns too. I faced against people with spammy guns. Especially that legendary mp5. You can still dodge bullets. Pc era made dodging bullets possible.

After playing pc era, and then I play iera. It feels....weird... In fact. I almost don't feel like sparring in iera anymore. I would gladly play pc era but it lacks players and requires payment. (You need to pay subscription. You pay XX amount of money every X months.)

I want to hear your opinion on iera sparring/combat.

my record is like 60-140 and it really gets on my nerves how i fight people with tec9s and shipkas while i got a p90.

I disagree with your opinion about sparring on iEra and you could play pc era without needing a gold subscription.

Why don't you not spar than? It can't be perfect for everyone since some people find it great.

Era sparring is basically the same everyday, people complaining about you lagging and bragging and all that stuff. That's why I barely see many people down there. It's just not fun anymore.

sparring on era sucks because there are a bunch of kids who robbed there parents credit card to buy BARs and shipkas, all they have to do it spam bullets

the simple way to do this is to take away all the bars and shipkas and refund the owners OR only allow certain guns in certain spar rooms

because its annoying not being able to take a tower with 5 peoples with BARs

It's not the gun, it's about the player using it.

I do need a gold subscription. I only have 4 hours left until I can't play, that is unless I wait for a long time just to get 1 extra hour.

Think about it though. Any gun in pc can be used as a spar gun. Ever tried using m3 to spar in iera? Sure the player does most of the skill, but the gun needs to be at least up to the player's standards.

You can play Era PC and Zodiac as much as you want. That time limit applies to all the other servers I belive.

I'm at unground/Complex most of the time the thing I hear while im there is players complain about is spam/laggers other than that it's ok

Everyone with skill and an m4 hugs the bottom and spams (including myself) I've seen it, so don't deny it. That's just how people win spars these days. Balancing the guns would definitely change that. Any bottom huggers would easily be destroyed by a shotgun/m3/PBP if they weren't so slow/freezy. As for melee weapons, I haven't played PC era in a really long time, so I don't really remember much about how they were used in spar there, but on iEra I find it extremely easy to run+shoot+dodge anyone who's stupid enough to melee against me. I would love to see balaned guns, sparring would be mroe of a challenge that way. But the more balanced the guns get, the more "pro sparrers" there are...and that concerns me.

Don't we want true skill?

I'm getting awfully bored now seeing nothing but m4s in spar. It's not amusing me any more. Get m4 and with enough skill, you can practically be unstoppable.

Standing on the other side of the spar arena shooting at somebody. Gee, that takes a lot of skill.
