Gun smithing
 

Well since we have ores and minerals I thought this would be a great idea. Just like any other game with smithing using a manual and creating certain objects. I was wondering if era could implement a system to create different types of guns through mining and maybe specific costs. Such as obtaining 100 diamonds or whatever minerals and manuals or a go to quest guy to make your gun at a certain cost. This could also be used to create attachments and such. Just thought this could possibly spice up the game a bit instead of just pure gralats.

Instead of pure gralats... Fail. Sorry, I don't think people would go for this. The concept is cool, but I don't think it's realistic.

Pure gralats as in paying only in gralats. Graal already is lacking in quests and missions as it is. The only missions are car missions with gralat rewards. This would also make it harder to obtain a gun as it would require more effort. They can always raise costs for making the gun or whatever. But I guess graal is more of a simplistic game so I can see why people hate this idea.

Stefan wanted to add this feature a while ago but nothing ever materialised from it; I like the original idea what he had and I still think it would work.

Yeah it would be great if you added this feature it wouldn't be as boring as shoveling or just buying packs. Hopefully Stephan would reconsider the idea. Thanks for the feedback WDM.

Say you want to make a starter pistol, you get 100 of each mineral and then you make one. If u want to upgrade it's damage then you need to get about 50 of each minerals to do that.

I for one think it's a good idea. About time we had to put some work in, to get what we want ;) But the option should still be available to buy the guns with just gralats, for those who are too lazy.

Who ever said about making it easier? I think this is more challenging. Getting 100 diamonds or specific ores is not that easy. Also, costs to make the gun will probably be added like a fee. In no way does making your guns correlate to easy. In my opinion they should be separate guns or specific levels to create specific guns. I only brought the idea up so that it would be semi more challenging/fun to receive certain guns rather than someone who just purchases an iTunes card for the gun.

Good idea

Summary:
We have the idea, The approval, and the potential to be something big. The only question is if it has mass appeal. Maybe Make a survey to see if they are up for that type of work. If people go forward with this, then you have now been part of the idea process.
Pros:A new way to gain guns
Have a sort of goal to work to
Even MORE appeal for the mining bussiness.
Cons:
Bugs/glitches
Might not be a great hit.
Opinion:
Go forward with this. Seems like a great idea.

We can only hope this idea will be approved once again... It probably won't, but if it does I hope they create specific guns just for making/crafting/smithing whatever you call it.

yeah, crafting/smithing exclusive guns would make the game more fun by adding some actual rarity to some guns that doesnt depend on price.
