The thread starter put in lots of effort in his texts with all kinds of fonts and different colours to emphasis how badly he wants melee and guns to be trade-able so let's give him some credit. <3
Haha, jokes aside, it is true that if melee and guns were to be trade-able, players would not spend gralats to buy new guns/melees when they get bored of their own as they can trade for what they want continuously as there will always be demand and supply for each gun/melee. Since era focus is mainly about profitability ( let's not argue about this for as much as players wish to enjoy a game with low spending, eurocentre requires profits in order to continue running this game, so fine.) this cannot happen as it will greatly impact the economy of era, ( which in another words means the amount of gralats players spend which also reflects the amount of gralat packs purchased with real cash.)
However, a slight sweetener can be given to players. A daring suggestion would be a gun refund system. Of course we cannot expect a full refund, but a refund at approximately 1/3-1/4 of it's original price would be reasonable. From a player's point of view, sometimes we just want to have a "feel" of the gun, like it's freeze, it's range and its accuracy which merely reading the description of the gun itself is insufficient.
It is impossible for most players to purchase all the guns in Era but sometimes we just want to have hands-on on all the guns. I believe if a refund system is at 1/3-1/4, it would not ruin the economy and profitability of Era. Furthermore, who knows, players may just spend more now as they have an incentive to buy guns/melees.
Thank you! :D
