Graal PC has been around for, what, almost 15 years now?

I think, if the game continues to evolve (new mobile products come out, etc.), Graal will continue to be around for a very long time.

we are still gaining new players every day at a much more rapid rate than players leave, I think it will be around for quite a while...

Well...considering the player count on PC...it's easy to say something has been around if it's kept around by the owners, but there's not really a lot of people on it in reality.

Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to discourage anyone lol, just saying. Plus I'm sure PC will get more players due to the exposure Graal itself has been getting from the mobile servers.

But...you gotta consider the amount of "new players" sticking around for only a few days and then leaving. As far as I know the record for the highest amount of players online at once was near 2000. Now it's much much lower than that and hasn't shown signs of reaching that high anymore. I know an argument to this that someone might bring up to this is, VIP. That if you AFK while on VIP you get disconnected effectively as opposed to a non-VIP who will get reconnected right away, thus lowering player count. But that's not entirely true, when you're in the log-in screen of VIP your original non-VIP account is logged in. I know this because whenever Kelcey would fall asleep on her VIP account, I'd check friends list and see her non-VIP account online. Also at times when I start Graal there's usually some PM's at the top left like normal, literally, on top of the log in screen for VIP.

If you want to test it out, go on your non-VIP account and look at your hours. Then go AFK for the night just on the VIP log in screen and once you get up, check your non-VIP, you will have accumulated hours on it.

Mobile Graal requires no subscription of any kind whereas PC requires a Gold subscription. See where Im going with this?

Neither does PC Graal require one. It´s just helpful.

The game satisfies a weird social gaming niche and as long as there's at least some support for it the game never truly dies out.

You could say that PC does not require a gold subscription (It's not like you are forced to buy gold) because 2 hours each month of gameplay without observer mode and if you are on observer mode you get like 10mins on that mode and like 10mins without it.

Then there is also zodiac which does not require gold at all to be a full time player on that server

in my opinion the opening of the forum greatly increased iclassics life time because of a increased comunity :P

Graal is ever expanding, even if this iphone version dies, there will most likely still be some other Graal game out there.
