I can't see anybody when i spar including myself. I've asked a few other people but thy said the same thing.

Only people who have iPads can see.

If you're referring to the other levels in the multi-leveled spar place, then yes. All the floors reachable by elevator are like that. Poor scripting I think.

forget the screenshot, i can't take one while sparring anyways :p
