Here are my suggestions about archery for the next update, whenever so-
1) Enlarged Buttons, our eyes get so focused on the targets its hard to keep track of where your finger is tapping, causing you to fail to shoot at critical times because u tap the wrong area.

2) Longer arrows. Many hats (including robin hood hat) get in the entire view of your arrow making it diffucult to determine how close your arrow is before you shoot it to the aiming lanes.

3) Skip target button. Skips the current target in play. Some games get 0 X targets and then others get like 5... It's a little OP. We should be able to click a button below or above the shoot button to skip a target.

4) Points on-hit. When you miss a target, text appears where the missed target hit back wall and says "miss". Same with when you hit a target. It says "Hit" and bellow tells you your current points/how many points you gained from hit. Also includes Bulls-eye and X hits.

Suggestions / comments/ input/ action?

i agree on the larger buttons. as for #2 that would be nice but you can always take your hat off like i do

MattKan 04-07-2012 01:20 AM

I like the buttons as is.

Sungwonc01 04-07-2012 01:28 AM

10 X's. How does ten X's happen in a row? I would like to see a maximum of 3 X's in a row.

x_x i agree... the shoot button and the arrow are to small, they need to be enlarged to make it a little bit more visible :]

What are you talking about?

Since the button size has always been that way in the game, I doubt it will change. Besides, it's all in where you put your finger. You miss, too bad. Bullseye, good for you. Also about your hat suggestion. As Skill said, take your hat off before your up in archery.

Button size i see where your coming from, but its annoying having to take your hat off all the time just to arch. I forget alot too and then its too late and i have to wait for it to be my turn again.

I dont see any bad coming from longers arrows accept a staff member has to spend an hours of his/her time correcting the gani

I think the arrow length should stay. It doesn't really bug me and I doubt it bugs a lot of players.

About your hat statement. I don't think staff would do this because they would care less about you forgetting to take off your hat.

I see no point in further improvement of the archery range. The rate between getting X's and targets is purely by chance, so you really can't complain about that if everybody has the same fair chance. Larger buttons would obstruct my view, since I play on a computer. I feel like creating larger buttons only takes up server file cache space, and if you have played for a while with a single button size, it may be tough to adapt to a new size. When I tried it on my brother's iPod, it wasn't too difficult to press the buttons.

More hats? You've got to be kidding! X.x This game is not all about hats, I'm pretty sure showing off your top score to your friends is a big enough prize. The hat prize is a bonus right now, many people take that for granted. There comes a time where there will be no more new hats to be added, because thousands of hats will be already uploaded. Also, who needs hundreds of hats, anyway? You can only wear one at a time, and Graal is not a fashion show. Longer arrows? I feel like that would make no difference, to be honest. In the game, the arrow flies perfectly straight, anyway.

As for any further complaints about fairness or chance improvement, I have one reminder to be known... Technology is not always perfect. In fact, many times it can be found with many flaws. Being frustrated at a small mishap in the game like a little lag, false spar hit, small bug or glitch, or in this case an unregistered bulls-eye can be all because of simple flaw in technology. And there is nothing we can do about it. Compare it to receiving a failing grade on a paper in school. Suck it up, and move on. There really is no other way to put it behind you successfully. You cannot change the result, or the factors leading up to the result. Therefore, I see no point in trying to change the working archery mini-game system. As good as your intentions may be, I disagree.

Why are you people so bad at reading? And chill. These are suggestions for an update. Not complaints and crying over it.

I don't think larger buttons would take up server file cache space really since its more of a graphic but i see what you mean by both the target rate and the size of the button. I agree.. Doesn't need to be changed

Um... Shannon.. I think you got carried away because he wasn't talking about more hats.. he was referring to when you can't see the arrow because the hat is long/big enough to block the view of the arrow (If thats what kendama was saying)

As much as i wanna repeat that you're getting carried away, i agree on this part. The Archery is still in improvement if im correct because there is a couple of flaws.

Overall, nothing needs to change.. Just wait for the minor tweaks for the archery..

The quote above me sums up the whole situation and in my opinion is 100% correct. No queries or doubts. It is the clearest way to put it to you.
Move on .

I agree on larger buttons
