spin to win is hacking?
 

My friend Tim was sparring today on the FB server(Finally got him to join graal!) and he got banned when he was dominating spar(went like 20-2!) it said he was hacking although he wasn't, he was just using a strategy to spam his sword in all directions and the admin though it was a hack.

I actually randomly happened to log on during this and sparred this guy and it definitely deserved a ban. Freely moving around and spamming your sword in all directions is not legal.

The dude's obviously new to the game, it doesn't deserve a ban.

Could be wrong, but pretty sure there isn't a rule that says no one is allowed to glitch or hack except for new players, and for them its a-ok. You'd have to be pretty dumb to not realize what you are doing is wrong when everyone is moving in a certain way except for you, and you are flying around the level spinning like crazy and winning spars easily.

Well he can't of been overly cheating as he managed to lose twice. I wasn't there but I take Skill's word for it.

That's not a rule at all. I don't know what you're talking about. It's just a cheap technique, but it's not like he's untouchable. If the staff banned him for that they must have been misinformed. However, if this is a new rule it's the worst one I've seen yet.

LOL at all the opinions here. Being GP on iphone/facebook server must be the most thankless, miserable job ever.

It isn't all that bad. You get to help the community out and see what it's like on the other side. Some people will cuss you out and others will give you a thank you. You may not get paid, but I think the people who apply should be applying because they are actually willing to help people out without expecting anything in return.

When you see the reports its actually really funny. about 20% is gralat scams that people whine about like 8 year olds and dont stop spamming about, 50% is people reporting their peers for cussing then when I arrive they are completely over it, 20% is people who got stuck on walls that got called out for glitching, only like 10% are legit reports. So yeah it is a pain. One kid went an hour straight reporting someone for stealing a purple gralat even after I warned him he had to stop and there was nothing I could do. eventually had to ban him after an hour of endless spam -_-.

admins are loved though either that or everyone just wants to be friends with them so that they can be one XD

I think what he meant is that you cannot do them at the same time. Moving while swinging is not allowed, and using the spin technique NPC is not allowed. (It does exist on this server, staff used to have access to it.) If he broke these rules, he deserved the ban.

Whether or not he is a "new" player or not is out of the picture. I can never tell who is new and who is just on a second or third account. It seems every other person I spar uses a non-VIP account or a new Facebook account specifically to test a hack or glitch. In this case, I believe this person rightfully deserved the ban. Evidence is witness, reason is credible, and situation already dealt with. Case closed. ;)
