Swear Filter Error - "An ally" = "anally"???

Whenever I say the phrase "an ally" (as in "they have an ally"), the swear filter I guess thinks I am saying "anally" and blocks it out. Can you please fix this? Highly frustrating.

anything with anal in it is blocked. Really wish they would fix this because it is probably the most common cause of the swear filter being set off incorrectly.

just remove the damn swear filter or add a way to disable it, everyone just gets past it and all it does is annoy people, someone tell stefan this he is the only one who can do it.

The most annoying one for me is "who recruited". It changes to "******cruited", because the "who" and "re" spell.. Yeah.

Swear filter is pointless. People will still get around it, with words like: fxck, fack, f*ck, etc. Also interchangeable for every other swear word. Also, why didn't they filter out "s**t"? It's really just an annoyance rather than what it was meant to be.

I mean, at least make it so it ignores separate words. An ally or who recruited should not set off "anally" and "*****" in the filter because they are separate words.

Case in point. The vBulletin filter didn't get set off when I said "who recruited." If vBulletin can do it, so can Graal.

I hate how is blocks out important words.

it used to be 9+ too, Idk what apple was thinking. Any game with online interactions and chat should be at least 13+, and with guild pics kids can be exposed to just about anything

haha if their parent's only knew! i've seen some things...some unspeakable things....

Higbey 04-25-2012 06:49 PM

game isnt legally responsible if they take off the swear filter, online interactions are not rated, and excessive swearing can lead to staff gagging you

S. Serenity 04-25-2012 07:53 PM

Same problem with 'an album'. I think some words are too close to common phrases, and shouldn't be filtered like this

Skyzer 04-25-2012 08:35 PM

I don't even know why anal is considered a swear.
