NPC adding (levels)

Ok, i created an img of a basketball... lets say I want to add that into my level. I tried creating an npc and browsing for the img but the npc wont show. Do I have to save the img in a certain folder or do something to make it show? Please help, thx!

The only way (that I know of) would be that you have to have access to an RC on a server. There you would put the image into the RC. It'll then show up as an image. (Maybe not all of the time in the offline level editor, but when/if you upload it to a server, it'll show up.

Save the image as an 8-bit and put it in the same folder as your level.

so your pretty much saying if i dont have rc then i should find a premade img in my graal>levels>images folder and use that to test my scripts but after i test my scripts i change it back to the correct img and then it will show it in the server?

wait moneybaby, how do i save it as an 8-bit?

Save it as a .gif instead of a .png.

i know how to save as gif, i was just surprised that you are supposed to save it as a gif

Rather than saving it as a god ugly gif, chose a program that will allow you to change the output type with a few more options. Something like paint.net, GIMP or Photoshop will allow you to change the bit-depth of PNG files.

Level Editor is unfortunate in that it does require an 8bit PNG :(

i have gimp, teach me how to change the png to 8-bit!

At work and quite busy so not from me. I'd suggest looking at file->export or something similar. If you run into trouble, google it!
