Just a small question regarding custom heads
I think this was already mentioned but before i upload my custom head to the admins: i wanted to ask if theres a way you can test your own head on something to see if it fits on the character so i won't have to resubmit it on iClassic.
Any suggestions? |
You can always log onto a PC server, change head1.png to head1a.png, and rename your custom head head1.png and see it that way. Alternatively, you can replace it using the same method on iFile, but you would have to use an SSH client to get the file there.
The easiest way at the price of interaction would be layering the head template over a body template, and lining up the sample head in the templates together. |
You can also test it in the level editor.

Isn't ifile appearence only? You can see yourself in a cool outfit but acually it's head6 or something. Also everyone around you with head6 would have the outfit :P

Thanks guys :) I've tested it and the head is really good. Im uploading it now to iClassic.
One more thing just not to make a mistake: When im uploading the head and it already has a transparent background, do i check "Set Transparency" or not? not trying to sound stupid but this is my first time uploading my own head |
I'm pretty sure that, if the head already has a transparent background, you don't need to do that. But if you aren't sure if it is, you definitely should.
If it helps, here is what a transparent image should look like (this one is completely transparent): http://www.developertutorials.com/wp.../2008/03/1.png |
