Graal Viewer

Any of you not playing PC graal and wanting to see what heads/bodies look like before you upload them?
Well I have the soloution.
I call it Graal Viewer.
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...18640880_n.jpg
It allows you to view combinations before you upload them.
It's mainly useful for iEra and iClassic players.
Anyway it can be found here.
To use it, simply drag a head or body on to it.
Tomorrow if I have time I will be adding hats to it too, then shields.
If you spot any bugs or have suggestions, please do leave a reply :)
Side-note, transparencies do have to be set in advance, other was it will look a bit funny ;)
-Enjoy (hopefully)

Update Again!
Added hats.
Note for some odd reason you have to have a head and body set before setting a hat.
I plan on fixing this.
If you want the hats version re download it.

Next is shields.
If you would like to check up on the apps progress, I will be starting a page and it will be available here.

Pretty nifty, I suppose.
What language did you use to make this?

Gunderak 05-16-2012 11:06 AM

I coded it all in VB.
I would of done it in C++ but I am still learning it so it would of been a tad hard lol
If anyone would like to see a video of it before you download it, you can here
And for a VB script it's quite long lol, 180 lines and counting.

Ooh, that drag and drop idea's pretty awesome.

This is sweet, thank-you.
Note: You have to have transparencies set before hand.

Gunderak 05-16-2012 11:32 AM

Thanks and yes, i'll put that in my OP.
I don't think it's possible to set transparencies properly via VB, I mean I could add a colour picker and make the user select what colour should be transparent but then the app will look messy.

One large problem is that since this is directed towards ipod/iphone players is that you would need to know the file name of the hat you want, which would be a pain to get if your iphone/ipod isnt jailbroken.

Gunderak 05-16-2012 11:43 PM

Well that hat feature is mainly for those who want to make hats and see if they fit and what they'd look like.
And I might be able to add a running frame but not sure. would be a bit of a pain.

Gunderak 05-17-2012 04:39 AM

Just a little update, I have been working hard to try an fix the bug but for some reason the hats aren't showing right, when I put them above the head it loses background transparency.
I'll be working to fix it.
I'm hoping to eventually add shields too, but the ratio could be a pain.

This looks interesting. I'll get it.
