yeah I thought you were making a single object in which case the sides should be expanded and rounded but it's a hat so it's perfect |
You used tethering a lot where it should be appearing to shine. Also the black looks flat due to lack of shading. You need a broader color selection. Also you shouldn't even use tethering on shine, but seeing as you did you used a lot. It just look flat and bland to me. Meh
I'm assuming it's supposed to be a helmet? The visor shouldn't go all the way across. Looks cheesy Also it looks like the lower right of your visor is shaded into the helmet itself? |

The bottom looks way too diagonal. More shading on the black, and even the visor if you want (since visors generally tend to reflect more light than the helmets). The lineart on the bottom of the visor doesnt match the top. The shading on the red stripe in the middle is bottom-up, which isn't generaly used in graal graphics. But it's your hat, your decision.
I think you've got a good start here, just a few things that could be looked at. Look forward to seeing the finished product. :) |
