Guild Scoreboard Solution: Top 100 instead of Top 50
 

Extend the top 50 total guild hours to the top 100 total guild hours.

I feel like this is a fair compromise to all of the legitimate guilds who were pushed out of the top 50 because of the facebook merge. These guilds are essentially upset because their hard work of tower taking on iPhone server is no longer being acknowledged.

Disclosure: my guild, Voyage, is number 51. But we will pass Jailers and be in top 50 again in a few weeks, so I'm not really suggesting this to benefit my own guild.

Please discuss this great idea.

The scoreboard now requires you to have at least 1k to get ranked.
What is the big deal? If you want your hard work to get recognized then haul ass and get your guild to 1k.

Which is totally possible for new guilds these days, lol. With CJ, CXE, COM, etc. essentially treating tower taking like full-time jobs, complete with schedules and shifts, getting to 1k is almost an impossible prospect.

But why should guilds with a few hundred hours not be rewarded because of the facebook merge?

What about spar? Very little of the top guilds are active, and it would be unfair to list more fort scores than spar just because score only goes up and not down.

I wasn't aware that people took guild spar seriously, but if they do, then having top 100 for that would make sense too.

Alright, now what are you going to do to make this idea into reality?

I really wish guilds sparred as much as they do towers.
They need to make an incentive for reaching a certain score in guild spar, just like you reach 1k fort time and you get a hat, why can't they do the same for guild sparring?

I'm pretty sure I heard that you get 10k score you get a hat but really? That is unheard of, it needs to be high but reachable.

eh i rly dont care for the idea. i never felt warm n fuzzy when Rebellious appeared at #50, so y would anyone feel good about being #100? 100s a lot... im not even sure if there are 100 that have over 100hrs.

It should have every guild in the Score-bored just put some pages

They might as well make all the leaderboards 100

O_O do u know how many guilds there?.... even if they eliminated guilds with <1hr that would be way too many...

Did I say he was a god? No I am sorry I was unclear, I was hinting at if he should contact some staff members to make this idea take off.

Yeah i know but it also should have a text box that is used to search up a guild.

I think it will make guilds more competitive since they will know there rankings

guild spars should be ranked differently not on score maybe wins ansd when reach certain spot get reward this could boost popularity by alot. and to make it not to easy only first 5 guilds get reward at say 1k wins(just an example) then they increase to 5k

staff members read these forums. in fact rufus was first to suggest this in another thread, so the idea has already been taken to staff.

ASH: IKR?! eurocenter search only searches players names, so if ur searching a guild, someone has to be wearing that tag! its almost impossible to view guild profiles if no ones on that tag, so there rly should be a guild search
