How do you pronounce ".gif?"

Theres apparently a good amount of people that prounounce .gif with a hard G, and a good amount of people that pronounce it with a soft g, or a "J" sound. Which one do you do? We all pronounce things in our heads differently.

Fun fact: The creators of the image file intended it to be pronounced: Jif! Did you know that?

Yep XD Everyone that I know says jif though. Thats actually how the creators of the image file intended it to be said.
