Computer Help

This is kinda important. Every time I try to start it up, it goes to the Windows Error Recovery. Now when I hit start windows normally, it boots up with the windows logo coming together then goes back to te recovery. I've tried safe mode, same result. I click on launch startup repair, it hangs at the screen when the windows theme jingles, but doesn't play the jingle. The mouse is suddenly huge and the only way I can get off is to do a hard reboot. That's all the info I can give you. Sorry for the misspellings and such, iPod.

Your first reaction is to come ask us? Go ask your local computer nerd/geek/******

... Which are nonexistent.

Ask Google.

Ok. Unplug your computer, plug back in. Try safe mode again. Try ANYTHING. If all else fails, bring to a computer shop.

Try doing a restore to an earlier restore point, or seek refuge in other computer forums. I'm afraid there aren't many techsperts here, save Twinny and a couple others. Good luck, I know how frustrating boot loops can be.

DragonRider 07-06-2012 11:38 PM

I tried Safe Mode, it just foes back.
How would I do an earlier restore point?

Dusty 07-07-2012 12:36 AM

You haven't even told us what version of Windows you're running.

The Doctor 07-07-2012 12:37 AM

Try to boot another operating system ISO

So you cannot access your computer at all?

How old is your computer? And what version do you have of Windows?

This.

Windows 7?
vista?
xp?
2000?

based on his description it sounds like xp. Anyways reinstalling windows might fix it but you'll lose your files.

DragonRider 07-07-2012 03:28 AM

Windows 7.

The Doctor 07-07-2012 03:30 AM

Alright. You can reinstall windows if you still have the disk. Plop it in, boot the disc, and done.
