Enforce PK
Era pc was aimed to be PK server not for the faint of heart, so iEra should have a little more pk enforcement. First, iEra needs killdrops like on pc. HOLD IT DO NOT SAY "won't get added we'll lose stuff". Like I said, like on pc era. If you still do not understand, the items don't come from your inventory. Okay, you should have that in your thick skulls so let's continue. Kill drops ussually would range from ammo and small time cash to much rarer things like ECs and perhaps special guns that appear very rarely. Next, gang points. Gang points are earned for killing members of other gangs when on tag. They could be traded for prizes ranging from simple things like death revives and infinite ammo to special gang perks. Gang perk examples could be things like a hat for your gang(as an alternitive to base hours) or even 1-2 gang vehicles for large amounts of gang members to ride in. Finally I think the thing that lets you kill people in protected areas should be improved, many people don't even know its there so it should have some sort of icon or something to tell you that you can continue the fight even outside the pk area. And perhaps on a simpler note there should be an item or something that'll increase the rate at which you get body parts from pk'ing people.

It isn't a hardcore gaming server, it's an iServer geared towards younger audiences than PC. Although it is a PK server, it isn't heavily geared towards it. I think the server is fine as it is, though more incentives for PKing might be nice - I liked the gang points idea as well. It could be a potential way to also promote the Cop vs. Gangster mentality of the game.

And, it wouldn't make ANY sense for people to drop guns or EC, then the guns and EC wouldn't be rare anymore.

Scenario 1: A person digs for a month, buys gralat packs to buy a BAR. Then 30 minutes later he loses his BAR because of being killed. Scenario 2: A noob has gotten his first EC. He runs down as fast as he can to go get 1,000 throwing knives. When a wild PBP weilder comes around the corner and kills him instantly! He loses the EC and quits graal. Scenario 3: A man that is a crazy good pker i.e iRichard. He kills tons of people in a day. Later that day he ends up with 57 EC from killing people. He would have a lightsaber in 2 days. No EC item would be rare anymore... No, this will not happen. Yes it went through my "thick skull" The answer will be a no. |
From what I read, I don't believe he meant that the guns or EC would be dropped from their own in inventory, but just something like a reward.
However, I don't think that EC should be rewarded... EC = Event Coin which is really just meant to be given for winning events, not PKing... As for the gun, I don't really like that idea... Possibly you could get points from PKing. If you save enough points, you could purchase a type of PK enhancement, or just fun items. |

When did I ever say the ECs drop often.... And well yes they are for events but it works out well on era pc sooooo....
