Stealing shells from other people.
 

I was shoveling one day (I had bought 5 shovels) and I was making good progress, when a guy started trying to grab my shells. He said this exact sentence. " I got alot of your shells thx for them.." and when I cashed my shells in, I was surprised to find I actually lost money by 12 gralats.

Does anybody have any thoughts?

You lost 12 Gralats.

It is not about the money, it is a matter of principle.

As in he didn't make a profit... Shovels cost 50 each and he bought 5 shovels so he spent 250 gralats. Therefore, he only made 238 gralats and lost 12...

others can only pick up shells if you leave them there for 2 min

Pick them up fast enough -> win!
I don't get why people always want to have a bunch of shells <.<

dude 12 gralats?? jeez I would probably rage if I lost 4 shells :(

It's an ok tactic. It goes against my code, but stealing after they've been sitting is perfectly fine.

So what you want is to make it last for 3min+?

I suppose you should just pick them up quicker. And if you see someone stealing your shells just quickly grab them all before he/she can get anymore. Haha one time I saw something pretty funny, this guy would stand over your shell piles and equip a shell and then show it. So it looked like he picked up your shell haha I thought it was funny..

Find a nice spot away from everyone else and dig. If you see someone coming close drop everything and pick them all up.
