Quitting
 

So I decided to quit Graal. Almost all my friends quit already, and overall the game just isn't fun anymore. I haven't been playing much lately anyways, only been checking to see if anything is new and I haven't seen any decent updates in forever.

So many other games are interesting me right now and Graal just isn't the same it was 2 years ago. I've had some great times over the years but with all my really close friends that made this game amazing for me gone there isn't much of a reason for me to play anymore. Additionally a lot of new games I'm going to play are coming out and school starts in a little over a week so I can't be spending too much time on Graal, its my Junior year and I can't afford to do poorly.

Probably still going to work on a game using the MMO development kit thing Downsider is making whenever he decides to release it.


I might check in occasionally to see if anything is new, so please don't be all like "LOL KNEW U WOULDNT QUIT" because I'm not hardcore quitting to the point where I try to forget the game.

Want to thank a lot of my friends that made the game fun for me. Sorry if I forget someone, please don't feel offended.

Daplaya: Probably my best friend on Graal, and he's quitting now. I've never seen him be rude to anyone and honestly he's the nicest person I've ever seen on Graal. He was really funny and made tower taking fun. Been a member of SHRUB for over 2 years and was a great member. Back in the day we would also glitch off map xD

Voiid/Panda:Good friend that helped teach me back when I was a noob and joined SHRUB and really helped us succeed. SHRUB was in the top 10 for a while once scores were up and we always dominated at night.

Mattkan: Back when we were both noobs at pc graal and development I worked on the server you bought and we would have arguments that would break our friendship every few months but we would always become friends again.

Countless old members of SHRUB/RAINs Army:
Over the years there have been some really great people in SHRUB that honestly are what kept me playing. With SHRUB dead now I don't have as much of a reason to play. Over time SHRUB died and members either quit or started moving to other guilds since we stopped taking towers.

Sora: I remember when you were knew we would always glitch off map xD you were a great tower taker too.

If you aren't hardcore quitting why bother making a post about it? You'll still come back, when you will leave and never come back then a post would be okay, but after that post you can never come back.

I'm in the exact same predicament as you are, but I haven't made a longwinded post to say I'm informally quitting. Anyway, good luck with whatever might be going on in your life. See you starside.

All your reasons for leaving are valid and I don't blame you. I stay on to chat with friends and stuff. iClassic has changed for the worse over the past couple years or maybe it's because too many friends are quitting or don't play anymore. Best of luck to you man. Although we weren't close I always hate seeing a fellow Graalian leave.

It's always sad to see another Graalian go. Classic has stopped being fun, with all the annoying people that infest it now, the lack of anything to do, and the fact that friends always leave. Your reasons for leaving are completely valid and true. I at least hope that you stay with us on these forums. Well, the off-topic ones at the very least.

If that new game coming out is World of Midgard.. well, you'll come running back to our fluffy kittens and bagels.

Oh god World of Midgard is terrible. Played it for 2 minutes, fell through the floor, tried their built in unstick function which takes like 5 minutes and it fixed it for a half of a second before I feel through the floor again immediately after. Uninstalled it after that...

I beta tested through all of the stages.. I think there were 4.. I just gave up in hope of improvement after the 3rd beta,,,
