How long does it take to receive a spar rating? Does it take a certain amount of spars to get one? I want to see how well I am doing in spar, but I keep sparring and don't have one...

I believe Master Li's is only a training spar. In fact you can't spar in other places like Battle Arena until you spar so many times in Master Li's(I think...). So I think once you have so many training spars in Master Li's you can go to Battle Arena and start gaining a real rating.

I am 1059-556. I mean when I go to the leaderboards why can I not see my rating? It says I haven't sparred enough and I obviously have.

You need to spar a decent amount at the battle arena in a short period of time.

I'm curious as to what that NCP in MoD Town thinks is a decent amount of wins.

Well I finally received a rating. I haven't found the NPC in MoD that says anything about Spars so I guess i'll have to go find him.

40k wins=pitiful

say "showrating". the second number decreases with every spar you participate in. you appear on the leaderboard when it is below either /130 or /120. i forget which one.

sparring in master li's doesnt do anything, you just need 24 hours.
